The following quatrain has been circulating on the Net, attributed to Nostradamus:

_"In the City of Gold there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb. The third big war will begin when the big city is burning."

This page says that the quatrain is bogus.

Also try searching here to see for yourself that no such quatrain exists among Nostradamus' writings.

Today the world is a very different place from what it was yesterday. Today's event was the most significant historical event that has occurred during our lifetimes so far. I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
